Connect Your AI Assistant to Trademark Monitoring

Once connected, the assistant works like an extra pair of hands for your account. Just say what you want, the way you would say it to a person.

These are only examples:

1. Watch my brand in the United States and in Europe.
2. What am I watching right now, and is there anything I should look at?
3. Add Italy to my watch for this brand.
4. Pause everything for now and tell me what is still running.
5. Every Monday, check my alerts and tell me only if something needs action.
6. Change my settings so alerts come once a week.

You can still use the IP Defender website yourself at any time. The assistant is only a shortcut for the same service.

1. Check that you copied the whole address: https://www.ipdefender.eu/mcp
2. Finish the IP Defender sign-in window. If nothing opened, allow pop-up windows for the assistant and try again.
3. Start a brand new chat after you connect. Older chats sometimes do not see it.
4. If there is no place to add anything, your free plan may not include it. Try another assistant from this page, or just use the IP Defender website.

You do not need a special app from us. Most AI assistants let you add other services to their menu, the same way you add a calendar or a mailbox. You add IP Defender once, sign in, and click Allow. After that the assistant can work with your trademark monitoring for you.

A sign-in window will open. Enter your IP Defender e-mail and password, or create an account. Then click Allow. You approve only once, and you can remove it later in the same settings.

3. Sign in to IP Defender and click Allow.
4. Go back to the chat and ask Grok to watch your brand.

1. Type this in the address bar and press Enter: chatgpt.com/plugins
2. Click the plus sign and choose Add custom MCP server.
3. Name: type IP Defender
4. Address: paste https://www.ipdefender.eu/mcp
5. Click Next. A sign-in window opens. Sign in to IP Defender and click Allow.
6. Tick the box that you understand the warning, then click Create.
7. Start a new chat, type @ and pick IP Defender from the list.

Then write what you want, for example: Watch my brand and tell me if a similar name appears.

This needs a paid ChatGPT plan. The free plan does not allow adding servers.

1. Click Customize, then Connectors.
2. Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
3. Name: type IP Defender
4. Address: paste https://www.ipdefender.eu/mcp and click Continue.
5. Leave the next screens as they are and click Continue, then Add.
6. Sign in to IP Defender and click Allow.
7. In a chat, click the + button at the lower left, choose Connectors and switch IP Defender on.

Then ask: Watch my brand and tell me if a similar name appears.

The free plan allows one custom connector, so make room if you already added another one. On a company plan, an owner has to add the connector before you can use it.
